We provide hydro-sandblasting services. This is a method of thorough cleaning of surfaces by abrasive and blasting treatment, combining the advantages of high-pressure cleaning with the advantages of sandblasting.
In hydro-sandblasting technology, the surface is cleaned with a compressed stream of water with an abrasive. A three-phase air-water-abrasive mixture is produced, which is directed towards the surface being treated using a hose with an appropriately selected working nozzle.
Wet abrasive grains have a higher particle mass, and therefore also higher kinetic energy, compared to dry sand – this results in a much higher intensity of surface treatment.
Depending on the type of surface being cleaned, we use various types of abrasives with appropriate granulation – most often these are garnet, quartz sand, copper slag. We also select the pressure level according to the needs.
By eliminating picking up static and sparking, the hydro-sandblasting method can be used where dry blasting is not possible, e.g. in areas at risk of explosion and ignition. It works perfectly in the oil and gas extraction industry, petrol stations, and the chemical industry.
